Fu Ziying, Assistant Minister of Commerce met with Miller, Minister for Trade and Industry of Bahamas, and Minister of Youth and Sports on February 20.
Assistant Minister Fu Ziying spoke highly of present situation of China-Bahamas relation when meeting with Minister Miller. He said that under economic globalization China attached great importance to not only our own development but also progress together with other developing countries. China and Bahamas are separated by vast oceans, and complementary economically, the two sides should further expand cooperative field and improve cooperation level on the principle of mutual interest and win-win.
Miller reviewed his visit to China and said that Chinese government and people strode forward in economic development, which attracted world attention. He hoped that the two sides would strengthen cooperation in every field under framework of China-Caribbean Forum, and look forward to Chinese technological support in agriculture and fishery.
Assistant Minister Fu Ziying met with Minister of Youth and Sports, and exchanged views on details of project of Bahamas National Stadium built-up with China assistance. The two sides agree on early completion of the national stadium, which would bring benefit to Bahamas people, and they accepted interview after the meeting.
